This Privacy Policy describes how Flowlayers ("Flowlayers", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit www.flowlayers.com or write to us.

1. Who we are

Flowlayers builds AI systems for businesses. We are based in Cairo, Egypt. The founder is Ahmed Elrayes. You can reach the data controller at horus@flowlayers.com.

2. What we collect

• Messages you send us. The site has no contact form. When you write to us on WhatsApp (+20 105 515 9240) or by email, we receive your phone number or email address, your name as you show it, and what you write. On WhatsApp you are talking to Horus, our AI assistant; it says so.
• Analytics data. We use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (and, where enabled, Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use the site. This includes an anonymized IP address, browser type, pages visited and how the page was used.

We do not collect special-category data, financial data or government identifiers.

3. Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and discuss possible work together, including booking a call with our founder.
• To improve the site and understand how it is used.

4. How we store and protect it

WhatsApp messages reach us through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and our messaging provider, and are read and answered with the help of AI models. Conversations and contact details are kept in our own systems, used only to answer and follow up with you. Analytics data is stored by Vercel, Google and, where enabled, Microsoft under their own privacy practices.

We use HTTPS throughout and strict security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Content-Security-Policy).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: (a) the processors that carry or help answer your messages (Meta, our WhatsApp messaging provider, our email provider and AI model providers); (b) our analytics processors, for measurement; (c) legal authorities where the law requires it.

6. Your rights

Under the privacy laws that apply (KSA PDPL, UAE PDPL, Egypt PDPL, Kuwait DPPR, and the GDPR where it applies) you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data.
• Object to processing for marketing.
• Withdraw consent at any time. On WhatsApp, write "stop" and we will not message you again.
• Complain to the supervisory authority in your country.

To use any of these rights, email horus@flowlayers.com. We answer within 30 days.

7. International transfers

Our providers operate in several countries. Where personal data leaves your country, we rely on the standard contractual clauses or similar legal instruments those providers offer.

8. Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies of our own. We store your chosen page light (fl_light) in your browser. Our analytics providers set their own cookies for measurement. We do not set advertising cookies.

9. Retention

Conversations and contact details are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we start working together. Analytics data follows each provider's default retention (Google: 14 months by default; we can shorten it on request).

10. Children

This site is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect data from, children under 16.

11. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are reflected in the Effective date at the top of this page.
